Organic Website Traffic v Pay Per Click (PPC)

What is Organic Website Traffic?

Organic website traffic is the term used to describe the visitors that come to your website through links appearing on the SERP (Search Engine Results Page) that are not paid for by the site owners. It is quite easily possible to appear at the top of Google search results if you pay Google enough money to be there in the first place, and continue paying if you want to stay there.

What is PPC?

PPC means Pay Per Click. You will see sites that have setup PPC appear at the very top of the search engine result listings page and they are identified with the word ‘sponsored’ above the listing.

Although PULSE SEO do offer a Google Ads (PPC – Pay Per Click) service, we much prefer to work on building your chance of appearing in the organic search results for which you do not pay. Whether you appear on the 1st page of Google for certain search terms is based on many factors, but in every case it needs to be earned, it can take time but the effort is worthwhile since once you are there, although your place is in no way guaranteed, it should be the case that with minimal continued effort it will be possible to more or less maintain this position.

At PULSE SEO our main focus is creating a long term SEO strategy for our clients centred around organic search to drive organic website traffic.
